The Challenge

As the largest A1 franchise partner, with several locations, HAAI GmbH
would like a daily evening report where the daily targets and sales
figures are prepared asap for the management.

Reporting and large analysis software is too complicated and provides
KPIs that you don’t need. It takes a lot of time until the numbers you
need are evaluated. Constant changes on the part of partner A1 require
a quick adjustment and new logics. High costs for consulting external
analysis tools do not justify the costs. Getting the dependency on just
one report from partner A1 is not ideal because there is no way to
control the settlement.
An in-house solution provides more information and brings possible
billing errors to daylight.

The Approach

Through our own experience in telecommunications, we have the right
basis and understanding to build software that covers the complex
requirements and logic of a network operator. By analyzing the current
difficulties and the goals of what our customer wants to achieve with
the software, we have written detailed user stories and requirements
and coordinated them in advance with everyone involved.

The goal was to only show the essentials to build the software simply
and purposefully for the business. We took everything important with us,
everything that is not necessary was left out.

The Solution

Due to the complex requirements, we opted for a clear and user-friendly
platform that can be accessed via a browser.
As in the banking environment, we have put security first. The software
runs in a cloud, in the EU, the data is mirrored and secured by multiple
redundancies. The backend allows adjustments to the KPI, logics and
users and profiles are regulated by the Superadmin. Several profiles with
different views and modules are regulated via an authorization concept.

A super admin in the company creates new ADMIN and can also control
the authorizations. The numbers can be synchronized manually and / or
via an interface to the cash register system. Daily reports are sent to a
special distributor at 10 pm every evening. The weekly report is sent
every Saturday and the monthly report is automatically sent on the last
day of the month.

The ability to make new adjustments at any time gives the customer
great flexibility.

The Results

Our customer has had accurate reports every day since the software
was introduced.
Time to market in retail is very important, measures can be taken quickly
and in a targeted manner. Through the performance cards per
employee, you can directly address the problematic topics, in which
area the employee struggles with sales. The area sales managers have a
perfect overview of the shop and the region. The management sees all
shops and can control better.

Since the software was introduced, the client has saved around 15
minutes of reporting per shop per day.

According to an analysis, this is about 22,000 minutes a year for all
shops or 366 hours at a cost per hour of around € 35 ROI is reached
after about 6 months, we calculated the quick and better analysis and
increase in sales figures at about 20k per year.
